ABOUT THE RACE FOR THE CUREŽ
The Komen Greater Nashville Race for the Cure raises significant funds and awareness for the fight against breast cancer, celebrates beast cancer survivorship, and honors those who have lost their battle with this disease.
Our USATF certified Race course will wind through the streets of Maryland Farms Business Park in Brentwood, TN. For a detailed layout of the course Click Here.
Complimentary parking will be available throughout Maryland Farms, please check back for detailed parking instructions closer to Race Time.
If you are a competitive runner, please note that you need to purchase your chip timing during registration. Chips will not be available for purchase on the day of the Race.
WHERE DO THE FUNDS GO?
Your support and participation help us to continue funding local programs that provide education, screening, and treatement services to those who need it most. In order to ensure that we fund programs that address the specific un-met breast health needs in our community, the Komen Greater Nashville Affiliate works with local medical experts and community leaders to conduct comprehensive community needs assessments. The community profile is used to establish local grant application and review processes consistent with Komen's standards and mission.
Up to 75% of the net proceeds stay in the Greater Nashville area to support local programs. A minimum of 25% of net funds raised support the National Komen Award and Research Grant Program.
